Dispatcher web app
Next.js and TypeScript with a real-time day board and drag-and-drop assignment.
A web platform that replaces spreadsheets and phone calls with live scheduling, technician routing and customer updates.
A growing services business schedules technicians in spreadsheets and chat threads. Jobs get double-booked, customers chase for arrival times, and managers have no live view of the day.
Approach
Shadow dispatchers and technicians, list every job state, and agree what the first release must do and what can wait.
Click-through prototypes of the dispatcher board and technician view, tested with the people who will use them.
Create job, assign technician, track status, notify customer. Everything else builds on that loop.
Track assignment time, reschedules and no-shows from day one so later releases are guided by data.
Solution

Installable PWA for job details, status updates and photo capture on site.

Queue-backed SMS and email updates triggered by job status changes.
